Kenneth Bryan Raper (1908-1987) was a mycologist and microbiologist. He was an authority on the medical and industrial applications of fungi of the genera Aspergillus and Penicillium and on the life history and taxonomy of the Dictyosteliaceae. He worked with the USDA Bureau of Chemistry and Soils (1929-1936) and Bureau of Plant Industry (1936-1940) where he collaborated with Charles Thom.
